What a lower price can hide

  • —Engines sold as add-ons. Several entry plans leave out Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Google AI Mode, and each engine you add raises the price.
  • —How often answers are checked. A daily check and a weekly check of the same 50 questions are very different amounts of data, and AI answers change from one run to the next.
  • —Countries. Some entry plans cover one country; extra countries cost more.
  • —Live search or model memory. Answers collected with web search on match what buyers see; answers from a model's memory can't reflect a page you published last week.
  • —What happens after the report. A list of mentions is only step one; the value is in knowing which pages to get onto, and whether it worked.

Which one fits

  • —Tightest budget, a handful of questions: Otterly.ai's Lite plan has the lowest published entry price.
  • —Already paying for Semrush or Ahrefs: their AI add-ons keep AI tracking next to your SEO data.
  • —Peec-style tracking with more prompts: compare Peec AI's Pro plan with Otterly.ai's Standard plan on the engines you need.
  • —A daily to-do list built from the pages AI cites, plus before-and-after proof: that is what Aurvikon is built for.
  • —Many engines, single sign-on and an account team: Profound's Enterprise plan is designed for that.

Where Aurvikon fits, honestly

Aurvikon is newer and smaller than Profound and Peec AI, and it covers fewer engines than Profound's Enterprise plan. What it does differently: it asks your buyer questions every day with live web search, scores you only on category questions (never on questions that contain your own name), turns the pages AI cited when it left you out into a to-do list (the Action Queue), and compares your latest answers with where you started (Results). Plans are monthly from $149; agencies get client logins and white-label reports on the Agency plan.

Questions people also ask

What is the cheapest Profound alternative?

On published prices in November 2026, Otterly.ai's Lite plan at $29 a month for 15 prompts is the lowest entry price. Profound itself offers a free trial but no published paid price for brands.

Is Peec AI cheaper than Profound?

Peec AI publishes prices from $95 a month for 50 prompts. Profound's brand pricing is by quote after the free trial, so a direct comparison needs a quote from Profound.

Do the cheaper tools track Claude and Perplexity?

Often only as add-ons or on higher plans. Check which engines are included on the exact plan you would buy.

Can I try before paying?

Most vendors offer a trial or a free check. Aurvikon's free check asks ChatGPT five buyer questions for your category with live web search and shows whether it names you, and who it names instead.
