You're optimising links you can measure — and ignoring the ones that matter
Classic SEO tracks backlinks. But the links that decide an AI answer are the sources the model cites, and until now that has been invisible. If you don't know what it reads, you can't influence what it says.
Invisible sources
The model cites a handful of domains to build your category's answer — and you've never seen the list.
Your pages, uncited
You publish great content that the engines never pull from. Effort with no citation is effort wasted.
No gap map
Without knowing which trusted sources omit you, there's no roadmap for getting cited.
Make the model's sources visible — and actionable
Trusted-source map
See the domains each engine repeatedly cites in your category — the places you need to be present to be recommended.
Your cited pages
Know which of your own URLs actually get cited back, so you can double down on what works.
Source-gap analysis
Find the trusted sources that mention rivals but not you — the highest-leverage places to earn a presence.
A get-in playbook
Turn each gap into a concrete action: the page to publish, the source to pitch, the record to correct.
How it works
01
Scan the answers
Aurvikon records every source each engine cites while answering your category prompts.
02
Attribute the domains
Sources are aggregated into the domains that matter most — and matched against your own pages.
03
Close the gaps
Work the prioritised source-gap list to increase how often your brand is the cited authority.

Questions, answered honestly
Do all engines cite sources?
Retrieval-heavy engines (like Perplexity and Google AI Overviews) cite explicitly; others lean on training. Aurvikon captures citations where the engine exposes them and infers trusted sources from the pattern across scans.
Why aren't my pages cited?
Usually because a more trusted or clearer source answers the question better. The source-gap view shows exactly where that's happening so you can fix the page or earn the placement.
Is this the same as backlinks?
Related but not identical. Backlinks build authority; citations are what the model actually pulls into the answer. We track the citations directly.
